Tracy Marsh

Mrs. Marsh is a dedicated educator and school leader with over two decades of experience in public education. She began her career in 1997 in Shelby County before joining Knox County Schools in 1999. Throughout her teaching career, she served at Lonsdale Elementary, Beaumont Magnet Academy, and Bluegrass Elementary, where she focused on fostering student growth and academic success. From 2008 to 2012, she supported teaching and learning as an instructional coach for the Farragut schools.

Mrs. Marsh began her administrative career in 2012 as an Assistant Principal at Beaumont Magnet Academy. In 2021, she was named Executive Principal of A.L. Lotts Elementary, where she continues to lead with a commitment to academic excellence, equity, and community engagement.

Mrs. Marsh holds a bachelor's degree in communications/public relations and a master's degree in education, both from East Tennessee State University. She also holds an Educational Specialist degree in Instructional Leadership from Tennessee Tech University.

Mrs. Marsh is passionate about serving the community where she lives and works and is dedicated to making A.L. Lotts a place where all students can achieve their personal best.

Tracy Frady

Mrs. Frady is a veteran educator and school leader with over 20 years of experience in public education. She began her career in 2001 as a classroom teacher at Fountain City Elementary and later at Cedar Bluff Elementary, where she served until 2017. In 2018, she transitioned into instructional leadership as an instructional coach, supporting teacher development and student achievement. In 2023, she was appointed Assistant Principal at A.L. Lotts Elementary, where she continues to serve with a strong commitment to fostering academic excellence and a positive school culture.

Mrs. Frady earned both her bachelor's degree in psychology and her master's degree in education from the University of Tennessee. She also holds an Educational Specialist degree in Administration and Supervision from Lincoln Memorial University.

Binta McClendon

Ms. McClendon is a dedicated educator and seasoned school leader with more than 25 years of experience in public education. She began her career in 2000 as a classroom teacher at Alcoa Elementary School, where she served for 8 years, developing a strong foundation in instructional practices and student engagement. In 2007, Ms. McClendon started her tenure in Knox County Schools, serving as a classroom teacher at Green Magnet Academy for 5 years. She later served as an early literacy instructional coach at Sarah Moore Greene Magnet Academy from 2013 to 2016, before transitioning into school administration.

Ms. McClendon has served as an Assistant Principal at A.L. Lotts Elementary since 2016, bringing a strong commitment to academic excellence and a positive, student-centered school culture. With nearly a decade of leadership at A.L. Lotts, she continues to support students, staff, and families through collaborative leadership and a focus on continuous improvement.

Ms. McClendon holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Tennessee State University and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Carson-Newman University. She also holds an Educational Specialist degree in Administration and Supervision from the University of Tennessee.
